Yes, the Lively Living ultrasonic diffuser does not use any form of heat, candle or naked flame, so it is even safe around children, the elderly and pets. Traditional vaporisers use heat to steam large amounts of water into the room during the night. This steam would ideally assist breathing. Unfortunately, the down side is that the steam vaporiser also produces condensation on the walls and ceiling, which in turn creates dampness, mould and bacteria, causing further health issues.
